Butler Kahn Resolves Double Amputation Case:- Donkey Attacks Victim

Our firm proudly represented Anna Maria Giacomi who was the victim of a horrific animal attack almost 2 years ago. Anna Maria was feeding a donkey on a commercial farm when the donkey grabbed her hand and dragged her into his enclosure. The donkey shattered the arm, bit into her limbs, and terrified Anna Maria. After being airlifted to a hospital, doctors failed to act in a proper medical manner which resulted in Anna Maria developing serious infections. She ended up having 11 surgeries in less than 2 months. On May 5, 2017 we resolved the case against the farm and its owners because they were responsible for what we call “negligent performance of a voluntary undertaking.” We are now exploring a medical malpractice case against the hospital and medical professionals.

The case was covered by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, People.com, Fox News, newser.com, WSB-TV, and even in the United Kingdom. Darren was also interviewed by WSB-TV News.
