Four Personal Injury Attorneys from Butler Kahn Named ‘Risings Stars’ by Georgia Super Lawyers

Four of the personal injury attorneys at Atlanta’s Butler Kahn were recently named Rising Stars for 2021 by Georgia Super Lawyers.

Jeb Butler, Matt Kahn, Morgan Lyndall, and Tom Giannotti made this year’s list in the Personal Injury General: Plaintiff category after demonstrating “excellence in the practice of law.” The award is a testament to all the hard work our lawyers do on behalf of our clients and our dedication to the Atlanta community.

Butler, Kahn, Lyndall, and Giannotti received their awards after an extensive selection process. Initial nominations are made by peers in the legal community, as well as by certain third parties. Once the initial nominees are selected, each lawyer is evaluated based on 12 categories of professional achievement and peer recognition.

These categories include:

The verdicts and settlements a lawyer has won
What other professional honors and awards they’ve received
Whether they have any special licenses or certifications
Their overall legal experience
How they’ve contributed to the local community
Any scholarly lectures or writing they’ve done

Following this evaluation, candidates with the highest point totals will join a blue-ribbon panel to evaluate other high-scoring candidates who serve in their same practice area. Once the panel has completed their task, the awards are handed out. The top 5 percent of candidates are named Super Lawyers, while the top 2.5 percent of lawyers who are younger than age 40 or have less than 10 years of experience are named Rising Stars.
