Tracy Saunders, 58, of Cornelia, Seriously Injured in Habersham County Car Accident With Pickup Truck on Level Grove Road

CORNELIA, GEORGIA (August 18, 2025) – A woman identified as Tracy Saunders was injured in a Cornelia car accident while walking across Level Grove Road.

Habersham County officials are saying that the accident took place around 6:40 a.m. on Thursday. Tracy Saunders was walking north along Level Grove Road when she was hit by a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victim. Georgia state police are saying that Tracy Saunders sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

A full investigation into the Cornelia pedestrian accident remains ongoing.
